thin is one of the best works I've ever read on the website, we need more of these opinionated articles. Excellent work Shaun, I agree with everything I've just read. Revelations was far from a bad game, but I definitely feel like it and brotherhood cant be compared to the leap between acII and the original, and it shows that if ubisoft doesn't change it's ways the franchise *will* turn into another cod. Also, @LAnoirFAN there were multiple apples of Eden made by the first civilization.
@Elrax if i understand 343 is microsoft hiring a few ex-bungie employees to make a new halo, and i'm pretty sure lionhead have made some pc games so i dont know if that makes them first party. i guess the only microsoft studio is turn 10. anyways thanks i'd been wondering... i wasn't sure if anyone was actually gonna reply to my comment and it was almost me saying "sony makes their own games and microsoft doesn't" :p
i don't even know of any microsoft made games.. if you do, please enlighten me. not even halo is really made by microsoft, they just caught bungie in a contract.
lol this is a goodand well written article, but there's something wrong with the reasoning involved. at least 4 of the points out of the 39 Phelps got CAN change depending on the players actions, contrary to what is stated on the first page. the *player* chooses whether to mow civilians down in a truck he's just hijacked in the name of the LAPD... so, some aspects of cole's personality may be quirky, but he's only a 28 on the psycho meter if the player gets a kick out of hurting innocent NPCs or is going for the $47 000 in damage trophy.
