People are complaining just for the sake of complaining. Taking the Emotion Engine out of the PS3 is going to allow Sony to make a PS3 price cut earlier & larger. Would you rather have a 98% BC PS3 available next Spring or this Xmas for $500 ($100 price cut) OR a 35% BC PS3 for $550 ($50 cut). I'd rather have a larger price cut than a PS3 that can play more old PS2 games. And the savings will let Sony put the money into making PS3 games and features. I thought people wanted next gen.....
You're asking people to pay $1.12 for a wig and a helmet on the same day the game comes out? I thought Peter Moore just said they were working hard to make sure people are not nickled and dimed with microtransactions....
Terminator that PC wouldn't reach the price of a PS3 until like 4 years from now, at which time the PS3 would be just as good given how many developers will have learned how to program for it. And by that time you will be able to get tons of PS3 games cheap. Furthermore the PS3 has tons of games you can't find being made on PC's.

If there was a theme park for all different companies gaming icons, maybe they'd be less willing to put out lackluster sequels because of the need to keep their characters popular.
