Seriously tell someone who cares, you were bought out by microsoft a long time ago... never in the history of videogames have i seen so much trash talk towards a console (PS3).... you included with many other popular sites love the taste of Microsofts money and millions of PS gamers nowknow not to respect your site.... check the forums on other sites and find out for yourself.

Well the $399 40gb PS3 puts the PS3 in affordable range for people that all along just wanted the PS3 for games.

The $599+ 160gb PS3 would be for the Hardcore Gamer or User who wants to enhance there experience like with a extra HDMI port or the Multi-memory-card input or perhaps use there PS3 as a full fledge server with extra Ethernet ports etc.
