The thing is handheld gaming works really well with the right games. I emulate the SNES on Android and have ploughed though a number of JRPGs and it works well.

Smartphone goes are just pants in comparison and so basic, so the potential clearly exists for RPGs and slower paced games to dominate handheld and offer something away from the twitch FPSs that need crazy graphics. The Vita is brilliant, but where are the games. I just hope no one goes In App Purchase on games, just cos its mobile.
