Used games aren't the problem. Its the quality of games. What this guy doesn't understand is that I would pay 150 bucks for Morrowind 2 and will likely pay 0 bucks for Skyrim 2. or equivalents...you get the point.
@xeoneex66 I like what you are saying here but do you really thing Garriot can deliver on his promise? 120.00 for a lot of hype seems a bit steep. I almost funded this but its not exactly like this guy has done anything relevant in the last 20 years in the genre he claims to want to restore to its former greatness. Sure I like what he is saying but I just couldn't trust I'll ever see anything for my money at this point. good for you supporters who do trust it though. I hope it truly works out for the RPG genre's sake.
If they would just come out and be honest it would be a lot easier to hear. But to say the reasons why they add these features that clearly benefit them and not the customer are becuase "people want it" is just patornizing and people are smarter than that.
Why don't they interview PC gamers to see the status of DLC. Of course developers love it cause they can sell half made games, then the rest of the game in chucks and pcs. Most PC gamers hate it as I do.
