Day 1. Love Dead Space 1 and 2, and I'm sure 3 will be amazing. I welcome the changes they brought with this one.Â

I think it'll be fine. The main gripe it seems is the inclusion of co-op, but that's totally optional. Visceral went though great lengths to make sure the co op and single player experiences were completely different, and it shows in the demo. The microtransaction controversy we're seeing now also isn't anything new, Visceral had a similar system since Dead Space 1.
Well it seems they are doing less horror and more action, but it seriously looks amazing. I like the optional co op aspect, but some things I didn't like were the universal ammo drops and cover system.
Just keep in mind that this is only 20 minutes of the game, and what we've seen so far takes place in act 2. There are environments and scenarios we haven't seen yet, and I'm expecting them to be like what we've seen in past games.

Confirmed?
I believe he is misinformed. There is only one campaign, if it's played in single player, then Carver just doesn't show up.

So if you play solo, you won't have an AI partner?
Yeah, it's a great game, and the 3D is pretty good. There was one particular level that was amazing in 3D (the one with the top down view). The first 8 worlds are pretty short, but trying to get 100% is a challenge. That being said, I highly recommend it.
Kid Icarus is amazing. I can't speak for Revelations but it also seems pretty solid. In the end it's up to you.
