you're all a bunch of crybabies

I understand you're upset that an employee of gamespot got fired, a trusted and revered employee, but still

everyone just needs to take a chill pill and stop PMSing like 14 year old girls

Yeah, resorting to insults and name-calling really makes you look like the mature one here. And there have been numerous blogs and insider sources that have claimed that much of what we know is true, so maybe you should do some reading around and researching yourself before you throw judgement onto others.

EDIT: I'll even get you started some.

Frank Provo's blog, who is a freelance writer that has written over 500 reviews for Gamespot, with contacts within Gamespot:

A posting by user "gamespot" who claims to be a current employee

I'll let you do the rest

I guess we now know why Mass Effect scored lower than Assassin's Creed. If you want your score, you better pay the fee and give up the perks, ala Assassin's Creed & Halo 3. This is not a good decision at all, ethically or financially. No matter what happens, Gamespot's credibility will be forever shot, and no credibility = less subscribers & readers, and less subscribers & readers = less advertising and money.

I personally wasn't a big fan of Jeff, but the timing and circumstances of it all stink. If they were having problems with his "tone", why would they promote to Lead Reviewer in the first place? And more importantly, why hasn't Gamespot released an official statement on this website to at least inform us of what's going on? I guess this just further shows that Gamespot doesn't care about its readers anymore.

Enjoy your advertising money while it lasts, Gamespot. I don't see you getting much more support after this debacle.

Watch it get a 6.7 on gamespot... j/k But I played the first one when it first came out and it was definitely the most revolutionary game I ever played. I'm definitely picking GOW2 up on release date.

[QUOTE="surid"]so.. valentines day is comming up soon.. i think it would be the perfect time to talk with my crush but i am too scared.. the problem is, i dont know if she likes me or not.. she is also kinda shy as well.. ive had a crush on this girl for almost 2 months now.. she is in two of my classes... i know you people have been through this before.. so i just needed some good advice on what is should do in this situation..:(MrGeezer

One time I had a huge crush on this one girl for three years I was pining over her and she just treated me like a goofy jerk.

Senior year rolls around, and senior prom is coming up. Finally she comes up to me and starts treating me nicely.

**** that. I may be stupid, but I'm not THAT stupid. Did she give a flying **** about my feelings? Hell no. She could just tell that I liked her. So when senior prom was coming up, and she found herself without a date, she had to ask somebody out or she'd be seen as "uncool". And she thought that she could suddenly fix HER problem by suddenly being nice to me nearly 4 YEARS after she first found out that I liked her.

Say what you want about me. I am arguably a loser and I am arguably sort of silly, but I'm not a total tool nor a ****ing fool. I've been without you for the last few years, honey. I've gotten used to it. Don't think you can suddenly use me for your purposes and make me out to be an ass. If anyone's gonna make me look like an ass, it's gonna be ME.

I totally blew her off. She was clearly flirting with me 110%, and that **** came out of nowhere. So I was just like, "it's been really nice talking to you, Kumi, but I'm sort of in a hurry and I have to do some stuff, or something. See you later."

And I really did love that girl. To this day I still dream about her constantly, and the last time I saw her was nearly 10 years ago. But she obviously didn't like me. And I still want to be with her, but not under those circumstances.

I'm a man, god damnit. I'm not a freaking mule that you can bend to your will by pulling a carrot out of your pocket. You don't get to just reel me in like a fish whenever it's convenient for YOU. I may love you, and you may be with me in my thoughts and dreams for the rest of my life, but I'm not that much of a fool that I'm going to throw away my dignity just for one night at the ****ing prom.

WTF was she thinking?

You should've at least tried to hit it then quit it, my friend. Plus, you never know. Feelings change alot over 3 years. But I have to ask: was she hot?

just whip it out. works for me everytime. but seriously, dude....dont come on too strong on her and DONT try to be overly cute or romantic especially if you've never talked to her before, because you'll seriously freak her out. Try to at least be friends first before you get into any serious romantic engagement

I have both and I can say that they are both equal quality for their genre. I'd say it depends on how long you can play in one session.

Riddick is a top 3 FPS ever made on the PC, and vastly underrated. Prey was an overhyped game that turned out mediocre. Riddick >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Prey.
