It's a rubbish game. Don't waste your money. If there are any issues with the Switch port of the game, you can be sure the developers will never bother to fix them.
I hate to say it, but this review is spot on. I used to love Rust and have spent hundreds of hours on it, but if you don't dedicate every waking moment to grinding and fortifying your base, a clan of unemployed Eastern Europeans will raid you within the first couple of days and destroy everything you own that's not worth stealing. To me, the insane amount of effort required for any kind of reward in this game makes it unplayable now.
@graffitiheart: Go ahead and try it then. I don't care if you blow your pocket money on a mediocre game.
By the way, the game is only well regarded by the people that like it, which is a minority of people that have played and reviewed it. It went viral because streamers started promoting it heavily in exchange for favours from the devs. That doesn't mean it's a good game.
@graffitiheart: I didn't tell people not to try it. I just said they're not missing out on much if they don't play it, which is true. Who hasn't played an online FPS game before? It's a standard arena shooter stuck in last man standing mode. And if you listen to people who have actually played it, it's not particularly well liked.
@graffitiheart: Millions more don't love the game. What's your point? It's a pretty average shooter marketed well. You've just bought into the unjustified hype. Early access is no excuse for banning players because streamers want them gone either. They only do that because streamers are marketing the game for them.
Like I pointed out to the other person, in 2013 over 8 million people were playing Farmville each day. According to people like you, that must mean Farmville is an amazing game!
