It was a cool video and I was glad to see some multiplayer action. However, I absolutely HATE it when they show a gameplay video and the person playing keeps dying! I want to see someone with some skill getting a lot of kills and showing what he can do, not getting owned by everyone he comes across. Did you see that guy trying to get an assassination from behind? He whiffed like 6 times. That just irritates me to watch.

AAA - No game will ever get AAAA at GS again. But I think Brawl will be AAA, it looks fantastic.

[QUOTE="jbrittain"]It's not just Gamestop and it's not really a demo version, in fact it's the full retail version of the game. Nintendo sent out Super Mario Galaxy game discs to various game retailers across the country. I saw it at Game Crazy, Gamestop, and Best Buy yesterday. Technically, if you stayed at the store, you could play the whole game. I tried bribing the employees at Game Crazy into selling it to me, but to no avail. comstrikeiscool

Apparently you can only play for 10 minutes though.

I played for about an hour at Game Crazy.

You have to turn one of the bats inside of the cave into an umbrella. Then you go to the top of that rope, flip the umbrella around and slide across.

Plus you can cancel it any time you want.

Yarcofin

I've never tried it, but I'm guessing most stores that make you put down a deposit won't refund it.

That's not true. In fact, it's illegal for them to keep your money if you want it back. You CAN cancel a preorder and get your money back, if you put cash down on that deposit. If you used store credit, then they'll only refund you in store credit. I've done it a few times.

ya but games ever sell out...i dont see whats the pointnkair23

Zack and Wiki is sold out everywhere near where I live, and that happens to be in Southern California with dozens of video game stores around. It's worth it to pre-order. Better safe than sorry, plus you can cancel it any time you want.

The idea is that your pre-order will guarantee you a title on launch day. They will not sell your copy, so while they may sell out of that particular game, your copy is guaranteed to be there at the store for you.

To clarify, Nintendo sent out a retail verson of Super Mario Galaxy to various video game retailers around the country this week. You can walk into a few video game stores, including Game Crazy, Gamestop, and Best Buy and play the full retail version of Super Mario Galaxy on one of their demo kiosks. (If they have it set up that is). I'm sure not everybody got it, but there are three different places where I live that have it set up. And no, you cannot buy it yet. Nintendo just sent them the disc.

It's good, really good. But it's also very hard, frustratingly hard in some parts. It's definitely one of those games that makes you feel like you actually accomplished something when you beat a level. I love that.
