Its the same old story: Buy a new PC game get all excited about it on the way home. Install it and it crashes complete dissapointment especially if it wont run at all. Thats why i prefer consoles these days at least you dont have to spend 3-4 hours trying to work out different ways that you can actually get the game you just brought to work on your system. Hell i brought sims2 for PC over 2 years ago and im still waiting for a patch that fixes the problem that i encountered with it. so i can actually play it for the first time.
the only uppoint to this is when we have the console over here we will only have to wait 7 months till gta comes out and yes people say that the ps3 is exspensive and the x-box 360 is cheap but when all their games go HD-DVD and you have to pay another £200 for the new player ontop of the £270 you already paid for the 360 Sonys deal isnt looking all that bad when you think about it. exspecially that the Blue ray player can hold more data than the HD-DVD. and knowing microsoft it wont be long after The HD-Drive is out that they will bring a new Blue ray drive out as well
