@Thanatos2k Or Battlefield 3, or Dragon Age II, or any other EA game. (soon SimCity)...

Games I've bought through Steam: 100+

To hell with EA. I would uninstall Origins right now if I could play Battlefield 3 without it.

@XxTheEvilxX Yes, but this is EA we're talking about. "Optional" coming from them might actually mean that we can either buy the stuff from them, or do a ton of intentionally tedious work to try and earn it ourselves. That's what I hate about the microtransaction market. There is always that risk that the developers will intentionally make earning something a long and tedious process just to try and push sales.

@emperiox There are so many factors that probably contributed to this tragedy that we cannot reasonable single out a handful. And each factor singled out and alone would not be enough to cause this. Honestly, if this man had taken a cab to the school there'd probably be people out there blaming the cab driver and cab companies in general. Then next thing you know we'd have a new law requiring all cab drivers to carry handheld metal detectors and screen all their passengers.

But seriously, I know it isn't that bad, but some of the stupid things that people blame for this shit gets pretty ridiculous. Can't we just stop the blame game and put it all back where it belongs, on the shooter himself?

@emperiox Yeah, idiots blame guns, then the NRA plays "shift the blame" to try and get the heat off them. It's like a diarrhea fountain trickling down from scapegoat to scapegoat.
