I just  got my PS3 about 10 hours ago, and right when I got home,  I turned it on been playing Call of Duty 3 for about 7 hours straight. Then out of no where, the system shuts off, no idea why, no  warning it just turns off. Can anyone help?-JNorman-

Ok so its about 27 days until the launch of PS3 over here in Australia and i am bored ****less  waiting for it sooo of corse i am going to ask two questions about PS3 to quench my thirst for knowledge on the PS3 ok so here goes. . .  I have a standard def T.V. but its not too bad as size goes.  now there is a high possibility that i wont be getting a HD tv anytime soon could somebody please post some pictures of a game running on standard def and high def?

and question 2. . . I am getting a 60 gig model but i don't have wireless internet i do have a ADSL modem that i might be able to hook it up to but i might be getting a wireless router soon also my question is aside from interent gaming is the internet connection necessary?

Hey guys!

Yeah, I'm getting the system due to launch over here at europe. I was just wondering what you guys think I should have in mind before I get the system. I've been thinking about the sound, I've got a 850w home theatre system with a regular old crappy TV. The reciever supports HDMI and has optical input, which one of those should I catch the sound from?

Later this year I will get an HDTV as well but the lack of 2 HDMI inputs on the PS3 is kind of suffering, how am I able to get a great picture at the same time as getting great sound?

Pic -> HDMI while Audio -> Optical? There are no better solutions right?

Is there a big difference between sound via hdmi/optical, identical? Have anyone made comparisons between the two of them? I don't care that much, as long as the sound is "good". 5.1 probably works great, is optical good enough for fillin those requirements?

In addition to the sound, how do you think 850w co-operates with the PS3?

Appreciate any kind of help and opinion
