I've never owned any Sony console, but with these collections sort of bundling up the best of the last two generations, maybe it's time. I could use a blue-ray player anyway, I guess.

So why doesn't the force exist again? Just because there are no force users down there? Or are they implying the force doesn't work in places where there is no plant/animal life? Because that doesn't make any sense(re: Deathstar, space, etc.).

Skylanders has on disc DLC because it's a Wii lead SKU. There no reason that other games can't use the same tech to be downloadable content keys. There's one other thing that wasn't mentioned. Skylanders figures store progress information within the figure, and are cross-platform compatible (even cross-game as the figures work with the completely different 3ds game and the website game). That's pretty new and interesting.
