Hmm, my game just looks really grainy/blurry and extremely bright...

Just bought Doom 3 super cheap during the Steam sale to replace my disc...PERFECT excuse to load it back up. Looks fantastic.

I can't believe how nieve some people can be about indie titles. If you want mainstream grabge, than stfu and stick with it...don't compare a random 3-4 year old GTA **** port on a Steam Summer Sale to an indie title I've seen for MUCH less than the current $25 US asking price. Every game you purchased aside from BRAID is a mainstream title, all of them sucked ass w/o patching and might as well have been beta's released at the $50-60 price range instead of the $7-$25 price range with more regular patching intervals, better consumer support and patching more for what we want instead of what they fell is right or will make that extra sale. Stick to your mainstream games then, because honestly if you can't see the value in what you paid, Steam Sales for **** games are for you. I support indie devs where I can, and will continue to do so to those that support their titles and keep it from vaporware status. Mainstream games are just frustrating and more often **** ports or lazy launches...why not support the area that is actually trying. I'd gladly pay $25 for Minecraft before I'd ever pay $60 for GTA-whatever. IMHO. Cheers.kursah
Are you upset? You sound upset. Anyway, I think what he was trying to say is that 25 dollars for a game that is still in Beta is quite steep, especially when most indie titles aren't that expensive. And I'm pretty sure they keep "patching" it because the game isn't finished yet. I'm not dissing Minecraft, it's incredible, but you seemed to have taken this all very personally.
I have to agree that this is silly.
Look here
Fans are generally held together by 2 clips. Remove the old one, put in the new one, and then plug it into the motherboard where the old one was, or any 3 pin connection that is labled "FAN." I really don't know why you would subject yourself to this ridiculous policy and hassle of being without a computer for something so simple.
Most of the games I have short play times for are games I ahve owned at some point and got on Steam for dirt cheap. I have a habit of buying a game, playing the intro or begining up to a point where I can freely play the game with no tutorial or annoiences, and then leave it until I want to return to it.
TL;DR: Original red faction, beat it in just under 4 hours.
I think it's important to note that when BF3 comes out, I don't think BC2 will die off. If you spend 5 dollars now you will be able to play for a very long time. I even get on Battlefield 2 every now and again, and that came out in 2005!

If you are going to pretend to be some kind of gaming journalist please at least try and read the stories completely. Once you read them stop and digest what the story actually means instead of just making up some headline (topic title) to get attention.
I see you do this constantly and it's kinda annoying.

well revenant if you dont like the read. dont read cause at the end of the day im doing TWICE the job GS's paid professionals are doing in giving pc gaming the voice it deserves...
I think you do a good job, ionus. GS forums always get the first heads up on stories like this that I enjoy reading well before GS posts them, if it all. Keep up the good work man.
