The 3DS sounds great and all, but seeing as Nintendo keeps on doing this with their DS marketing, how many more possibilities can there be? There's the DS Phat, the DS Lite, the DSi, DSi XL, now the 3DS. That's 5 releases of virtually the same system. Whereas, the Wii has seen only one release, and no one's heard much of its successor yet. I agree with a lot of people that the idea is interesting, and there's not much stopping me from buying one when it comes out, although I'm still using the Lite system. I am worried about how Nintendo is going to pull this off though. Avatar is an awesome movie, I watched it in 3D, but when I was out of the theater, I had a raging headache. Once I hear that the 3DS won't give you need for an Advil every time you play it, that's when I'll be sold. Until then...
