@tartacular @iwoof I never played that game.. fortunately or unfortunately. I didn't like halo 2 because of the auto-aim. Halo 3 greatly reduced that. I think Destiny definitely has tracking on enemy's but I guess that's just common now

Halo 1 was the only great single player halo game in my opinion.. it was the best single player campaign ever for an FPS. I didn't play halo 4 or the other halo game after halo 3**

Halo 3 was one of the great multiplayer games.. didn't even bother playing single player.

Destiny is like halo 2 for me personally. Fascinating.. visual.. not really engrossing, but definitely playable and interesting mechanics. I felt like Halo 3 perfected everything and got rid of the unnecessary stuff for multiplayer. The items were perfectly balanced.

Why this game scored low: It's not a new Halo .

This game isn't going to be a memorable series that defines a console or generation.

It's a good game and probably an 8.5/10, solid game.. no glitches or problems I've noticed.. Enjoyable gameplay..

The game however has no destiny of becoming Legendary. Just a fun game with hopefully memorable long lasting addicting multiplayer.. I could see that aspect maybe being competitive 9 months or so.

I was here earlier to bash the reviewer and after 2 hours of playing destiny and watching streamers on Twitch play the game I can understand why the game lost points, because it doesn't push anything you've never seen in a game before, but it expands on themes we have seen in gaming. It's an expansion to other games.. not so much a new completely unique product.. however it's still worthy of its components and work. I would give it an 8 or 8.5/10 personally so far.. but I plan to play through as much as possible. If you're looking for a completely unique and new experience .. for me this game feels like Mass effect + Halo + star wars + WoW + unreal tournament 2004

I'm enjoying it, and it continues to have new interesting draws that keep me wanting to play a little bit longer.

I've been playing games since the 90's and I remember the early day's as reviews popped up of games how many things were missed by reviewer's in the games I played and their lack of skill at the games too (early 2000's)

If you waste all your time reading reviews and getting attached to the site you won't get the experience of playing the interesting games out there which maybe are too creative or different to get a perfect score.. there's no way EVERY reiteration of Modernwarfare deserves above an 8.. there's no way GTA is the "perfect game" every release. That game Titanfall reminded me exactly of a game Xbox 2000 did when they released their console with big mech warriors shooting each other. If they don't hold games like that and Madden accountable why should you listen to them... they're also bringing down great Nintendo games, and it feels personal rather than objective. They must be getting paid off at this point I think

Go out and play games.. if you can't buy it rent it, or buy it used. There are a lot of games worth experiencing rather than just sitting and reading reviews, and convincing yourself not to waste money or time.

Well I'm going to go play the game while you bozo's go back and forth debating over the game for hours and days. By that time I'll get my money's worth
