1. Troll religious forums for eternity.

2. Find a solution to the problem of overpopulation.

3. See the ending of the young and restless.

The book of San Michele (I've already seen Capri, but this summer I might actually go again and take the time to go up to San Michele), Software Engineering Techniques (for my finals and upcoming job) and The Amazing Spider-Man comic books because I always loved Spider-Man and always wanted to read his full story (weren't available in my country and I'm pretty sure they're very rare now as well).

How's this for a wide range of titles?

The sig and the second banner are way over-sharpened and the first banner is too blurry. Try creating a focal point and place the text somewhere around it and blend it a little.

[QUOTE="Sword-Demon"]So when a criminal murders the family he's placed with, do we stick him with another family?BenedictArnold7
He won't feel the need to murder once he is welcomed by a family... Don't you want people to have you had?

Someone watched too many family movies. Just because you "show him love" doesn't mean he'll do the same. Probably the best case scenario would be him doing drugs with his friends in your living room with your money.

Whoever made the ad is a genius. Idiots that tried it deserve losing their phones. Maybe they'll learn to think next time.

[QUOTE="iskeethunters"]I don't bother with it. Never read one, never owned one, not planning on doing so. There are much better books to read out there.cain006
It's an incredibly important book and it's definitely worth the read just so you have more of an understanding of something so significant to such a large amount of people even if you aren't Christian. Then again I find this sort of stuff to be interesting :P

That's the thing that bothers me. People do not understand it yet they believe. I'm pretty sure nobody I know has read the Bible (completely at least). Here, in Romania, the majority of the population are Orthodox Christians. Religion is just a bunch of traditions they completely agree with without even thinking or questioning. You'd be amazed of how stupid our traditions are and how even the rich, successful people around here respect them. For example a funeral must be followed by several "giveaways". A giveaway is actually a dinner where the priest sings the same song every time and the family of the deceased gives away certain items + food. Well, depending from area to area, the traditions differ slightly but they are just as stupid. So, you must have a giveaway after 6 weeks, 6 months and then every year for the next 7 years after a person's death. Note: YOU MUST. What MUST you give? A bed, table, chair, table cloth, towels (I've heard some people talking about a lamp ???), food, suit, shoes and many others. WHY? Because the deceased shall receive them in Heaven (the place where you supposedly have everything you need - in a decent manner obviously). Seeing how different things are not only across my country, but across the world when comparing other Christian countries, both Catholic and Orthodox, I realized, this doesn't make any sense. According to each little area, the other 90% are doing it wrong and they are going to Hell. So, no thank you. I do not want to read it because I do not care about it.

There are far better books that are important to one's culture that I haven't read yet so when I do find the time to read, I'll go for some classics.

I guess I am a Christian, since I was baptized but I've become an atheist simply by asking myself some questions after watching the world around me and after reading some science and watching some documentaries. That's also why, as an atheist I consider myself superior. The others around me, my close friends and family (except my parents) are too simple minded to question it. They just accept it as it is. If we ever discuss something and I point out some strong arguments that would make a person question their beliefs at least they completely agree with me and seem "mindf*cked" when we talk, but they simply can't finish the thinking on their own. They are too lazy and dumb to care. They'll find everything I say interesting, but so is the soccer game taking place that night.

[QUOTE="foxhound_fox"]You have evidence to back this up, or are you pulling it out of your ass?Barbariser

The fact that the vast majority of top models, female sex symbols, actresses, musicians, athletes .etc are closer in appearance to the first picture. Never have I seen anyone or any organization idolizing women who are built like those in the second picture except for chubby chasers and "real women" campaigns. Or you could just count out of all the people in this thread who saw the pictures and expressed a preference, and the number is 8-4 in favour of the thin girls.

The top women aren't average, they aren't even close to average. The bottom are, especially in North America.

People find all body types attractive for various reasons. You implying those on top are closer to the acceptable standard is just laughable. The acceptable standard is carrying enough body fat to support a child through pregnancy.foxhound_fox

Where did I say that the top women are average? Neither of them are "average" in most of the world, but if the average North American woman looks like the bottom picture then that just shows how hilariously fat the continent is compared to the rest of the world. The only female demographic I know of that is about that thick on average are middle aged mothers and old women.

Laughable? I guess that's why out of the ten other people here who've expressed a preference, 7 other posters have stated that the women in the first picture are more attractive (a.k.a. agreed with me) while only three agree with you. What does body fat have to do with pregnancy? Googling suggests that about ovulation is impaired at less than 12% body fat or over 30-35%. And based on a few BFPto appearance converters, the girls at the bottom sit at the 30-35% range while the ones at the top are closer to 15%. Wow, would you look at that, the girls at the top have less issues with fertility than the ones at the bottom.

Your post is nothing but one big opinion trying to pass as fact. Most dudes I know would likely choose the bottom girls. Most dudes I know generally consider models too thin and unattractive, as I do. If you can see ribs so clearly, it's not healthy, period. There are plenty of good looking models, mind you.

The 4th girl's legs are hideous.

Some of the girls at the bottom are on the chubby side, sure, not denying that.

nunovlopes

Every post about this topic is an "opinion" and what the dudes you know would "likely" choose is about as anecdotal as evidence gets. The only thing I've passed off as "fact" is the idea that the women aren't "aesthetically appealing" and therefore aren't in demand as models - and I hope I don't have to show that the vast majority of models are far thinner than the bottom girls and closer to the top. You're right about the bony legs being unattractive, but guess what, thick flabby thighs are just as bad. And I can't see their ribs clearly.

You sir, deserve a medal.
