I'm looking forward to it for sure. There is no telling when it will be released though :/ You can add TotteryManx on Steam when it does though. I'd be down to play.

Dear god no. I wouldn't want their name associated with other peoples garbage. They have a great track record of incredibly polished games and there's no reason to ruin that. If anything I'm very happy Valve isn't releasing games all the time. They spend a lot of time on their games and put out quality instead of releasing rehashed trash like Assassins Creed every year.

Since your CPU is a non "K" version, that motherboard is overkill. Z series boards are for overclocking. If I were you I would get the newer I5 4460 and pair it with a "H" board. It would be cheaper. Also, a cooler might be unnecessary if you aren't going to overclock.

Then I'll go with the following : http://pcpartpicker.com/user/SirDarknight/saved/KRTV3C

You would need to update the BIOS for that motherboard to even use the 4460. Also, the case isn't great. Right now the source 210 is on sale and is a better case. I'm not sure why you need a 600 watt PSU, but this is what I would get, Link.

Eventually you will need to upgrade the GPU and with the way Nvidia is going 500 watts should be enough, unless you plan on SLI.

The only genre I really care if the frames are 60+ is fighting games. I can play nearly everything else at a locked 30, but fgs are atrocious in that range. I hate when people post videos on youtube claiming their PC can play MK9 perfectly fine, but they're only playing at 30-40fps. It looks slow mo to me.

You're right. Which is a good thing. Since that money was used for a better product.

Obviously, paying for a unfinished game that will soon be free to play is wrong. I feel dirty for buying it, but I'm learning a lot of people that are bashing H1 have absolutely no idea what they are talking about. If you're dumb enough to pay for a air drop, then you deserve the chance of losing it. The game is actually ok and I'm sure it will improve with time. Battle Royal is awesome though.

Also wont this game be free to play soon ?

I think the final game is free to play, but the early access is paid.

Funny how this world works these days...

We're basically paying for unfinished demo's these days. How the times have changed. I wont lie....I bought the game though due to peer pressure from my buddies playing it.

Given your situation, I would say to get her a cheap tablet and build a PC. If you needed something to take with you places I would suggest a laptop. I'm currently in the market for a gaming laptop because I bounce around and can do things like play games at work lol.

I was really looking forward to Evolve before the DLC thing started seeping in. It's sad because a lot of people I've been talking to have been raving about how fun it is, but I don't wanna give in to that crap.

Could very well be your CPU. Before jumping the gun and thinking about upgrading I would strongly suggest you check your CPU and GPU usage in game. There are tons of free software that allows you to do so. Or a quick Google search will teach you how. I've personally never had to do it so I can't walk you through it.

It also seems you meet the minimum requirements, so I'd expect you to play on Medium/high settings anyway.
