@mattjlea: on-board graphics is about as weak as it gets... his R9 390 video card isn't even in the same boat... For 1080p it should still do the job playing on High-Ultra settings while maintaining 60fps.

I remember taking Steam survey myself.
How come 1440p or Ultrawide resolutions didn't even get mentioned..? It's 2018 already after all...

@Rushaoz: What's so worth it about DDR4? I've gone from 4770K to 6700K. Performance gains are so minimal that I don't even notice them. 3770K is still a beast.

@manny_gee_funk: 1K really isn't bad for a laptop at all but you could build a pretty nice desktop for 1K.

@jecomans: That's why I said a decent TV. I have a 2K monitor but when I wanna game on my couch I just game on my 50" 1080P Samsung flat screen. It's not fancy or anything and it works perfectly fine. I have a friend that uses 37" Vizio also 1080P, nothing fancy. It works well for him.. he's been using it as a monitor for three years now.

@bigruss730: He can also use his HDTV as a monitor (as long as it's a decent flat screen).
