I know this is an "early" build of the game but after playing a while its clear that they are taking the game in a bad direction. Before I get flamed and scowled let me explain my concerns:

1) The game is slowed down compared to the first - like a lot. Part of what made TF1 so great was its speed and the fluidity players had in the environment. Chaining together epic wall runs while blasting away made it memorable. This game seems like they've toned that way back and it makes it play much more like Call of Duty then Titanfall. You seem to spend much more time running on the ground rather than scaling walls like you did in the first one.

2) No I don't live under a rock, and know the creators of TF are also those who spearheaded the COD franchise into what it is today. They even admitted they were slowing the game down because they felt it scared off new players and wanted something easier to pick up and play.... http://www.designntrend.com/articles/78806/20160617/titanfall-2-director-multiplayer-gameplay-slow-approachable.htm. The grappling hook adds a unique twist but is extremely slow and rather awkward to use. It just kind of flops out of your hand and slowly pulls you forward as you take bullets to the face.

3) Titans take longer to get, again, taking away from Titanfall. I'm not saying they need to drop every second, but I remember getting like 4 or 5 in some matches on the first game now I'm lucky if I get 2. Again, this creates just more time running on the ground instead of piloting what must people loved so much about the first.

4) I'll be spending more time with the game and maybe after a while will get used to its new identity but as of now, I'm rather dissappointed. I was hoping Playstation owners would get to experience the same level of awesomeness as the first but fear that won't be the case. Will I still buy it? Most likely, I love learning and playing new MP games (I love competitive MP games in general). But I must say, after the alpha I hope they change a few things

Hello, I've been spending some time with Overwatch (me and everyone else in the world) and I've come to notice a few things in competitive play that seem to be common errors especially in low ranking players. I know there are a lot of tips out there, many of them obvious like "work together, practice, communicate etc etc etc", so I was hoping to talk about a couple of other ones.

First: Don't go chasing people down random hallways. Especially if you are an attacker, the enemy might try to distract you and lure you away from the objective and then ultimately kill you after playing cat and mouse for a while. This just wastes time and works in the enemies favor, so restrain from running astray wasting precious time and stay focused on your objective.

Second: Pay attention to how many enemies have been killed. Keep one eye in the upper right corner where it shows who kills who. This is important because I can't tell you how many times I would go on a spree and take out like 4 enemies near the point, only to be killed myself, and when watching my teammates from the respawn camera, they're all just sitting there afraid to make a move thinking the point is still overrun with enemies. This is the time you must PUSH the point.

Third: Don't be ants walking off a cliff. What I mean by this is sometimes teams will get stuck in an endless loop where everyone is dying at slightly different times and therefore respawning is happening slightly apart and the team is just running into the enemy, one after the other, dying, respawning, and repeating. This essentially makes it so it is a constant 1 or 2 vs 6. If you see this trend happening...pause for a moment and try to move in with a group. Strength in numbers.

Last: Your most likely not that good at sniping. Not to sound rude, but when I see a widowmaker on my team I can't help but roll my eyes. People in their minds think they are an awesome sniper because when they get that one headshot after several misses, suddenly all those misses didnt' happen and in their mind they've just became a sniping god and saved the team. Realize that while you got that headshot and by the time you get another, your teammates will most likely have killed 7 or 8 people each while you just killed one or two. Now I will say that there are some people who actually are really good snipers and yes they should play to their strengths, however, I rarely see one in game.

That's all for now, hope you enjoyed these tips and that they help some of you. Again, these issues are most prevalent in lowish level players so I was just trying to help some of you lower levels see these problems and maybe address them quicker in your game if you do these things. You'll be a better player because of it. If you have any tips yourself add them to the comments

@JustPlainLucas: same here, but mainly this is only when I use my iPad, on my laptop they generally let me see the posts...it's quite frustrating.

@StormyJoe: Damn, I must be out of the loop. Nintendo is actually winning? Every game is just to cartoony for my taste. MS had 30 games, and several were actual exclusives. Not timed, but actual exclusives. Sony had several multiplats as well, and yes exclusives too. For me, MS is a clear win. I bought a console for games, I could give two shits about TV (I have never bothered with MS TV mumbo jumbo crap). So when MS came out with literally ALL games, I was hooked.

@finalstar2007: MS was literally game after game after game. Sony took breaks to talk about other stuff.
