Male/Female was about the same, but in ME2, 65% played as Soldiers. That number probably went down because the soldier in ME3 sucked in comparison.

@BoromiRwcgeorge The reason why Male Soldier shepard is the most popular is because many gamers are too lazy to change the default settings. In fact, the numbers were even higher for this combo in ME2, which means more players are choosing to switch things up than before, which would justify more customization options in the future, not less.

And yet, GameSpot couldn't be bothered to get an actual screenshot from Mass Effect 3. (It's from ME2)

Most likely that is the number that has contributed to the game in some form. Not full time developers. I think they quoted the number for AC3 at like 850 or something, so it's really not that incredible of a number.
