Yap, my fella, that's a little problem with the the Polar White color, my DS has 2 years old and the R & L buttons are like beige or light yellow (just as you described)... There is no solution for this situation, I try it all and did not work. (including to dissarm my DS, get the R and L buttons out and put them on water with chlorous). My unique recommendation is that this little detail shouldn't worry you or bother your DS' enjoyement.

This frustration is general in the Wii world, specially for those N loyal gamers (hardcore ones that have grown up with Nintendo systems)... So if you are waiting for great games then deposit your last hope on next year because on this one, the fate is given (no big hitters coming).... However, I could recomend you to check the current Wii library, there are many great games already released: SSBB, Mario Kart Wii, MP 3, No More Heroes, Okami, Zack and Wiki, Trauma Center, Monkey Ball BB, Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition, Mario Strikers Charged, Call of Duty World at War, Tales of Symphonia 2, Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn (if you played ToS and FE:PoR, you are gonna love them), World of Goo. I expect this list could be helpful to put your Wii in shape!! Good luck!

I thought Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword was overrated. slimdave21

I agree with you NG:DS is overrated, it has great graphics but it is too repetitive. On the other hand, TLoZ:PH is not an overrated game... For me is a masterpiece... In fact, an awarded masterpiece! :)

GC remote after years of melee with it I couldn't be bothered getting used to another way since that way works

monty_4256

Same here... However, lately I 've been trying to use Classic controller and it's not bad as I thought. In fact I was thinkin' to take it as my official one, but the batteries' consumption and the fact that it has to be connected to the Wiimote -pretty frustrating- discouraged me.

So, GC controller continues as my first choice!

Awesome game, one of the few Wii games that should be considered a must in a decent Wii collection. However, if you were a serious Melee player, you will miss SSBM speed and the advanced techniques (wavedash, L-cancel, etc). :( But at the end all depends in your attitude towards Brawl, I think that if you give a chance to SSBB, you will get used to the speed, gravity, characters moves and, in this way you will be enjoying the game improvements.

I also went back to Mario Kart wifi again. It's terrible. Hackers and snakers. It seems like nobody plays a proper game anymore. The few I faced that did want to play normally disconnected after a while.Dark_Link142

I think that the Hackers are the ones who cheat, making the online experiencie terrible. But I do not have objections or problems with the snaker group, they are just skillfull people doing the dashing stuff. In fact, I enjoy racing with them, it is fun! :)

And yup, I continue getting online with my MK DS, at least once a week!
