Yeah this must have been lame, to own a NTSC system in a PAL region. I honestly don't know why do consoles have region restrictions, while PC games never had those (well ok they do to some extent but it's not noticeable)
Your family is a game console collector :D You have to updated PC's hardware every now and then. Looks like that my family is a "PC collector" ;) I love to play games on it because it has a huge indie games library and I can use it for work and all the other jazz at the same time.
As I kid I used to play DOS games a lot because I didn't had anything else to play. There was no internet back then ;) In the year 1991 my country has just parted from the former Yugoslavia luckily without a big war (it last for only a few weeks) and in the former regime they weren't selling games like they do today. We usually had to travel to Austria to buy some more "unordinary" stuff (we live quite close to the border)
But in the mids/late 90's there were no obstacles when it come to buying stuff, even video games, consoles etc.
I remember the day when my neighbor lend me hers SNES I was so happy back then ^_^ she didn't had any big SNES games but it was fun all the way. I also remember the day when we got the Pentium 100 MHz with Voodoo 2 graphic card, it was awesome ^_^
@shadowhunter0 Yes they do post bad news as well. They were talking about the 3DS bad sales all the time, even before they have dropped the price. Some games are even reviewed with lower scores then on GS. So it's not that bias as it seems. It's just a Nintedo themed news site.
@dreamfist11 It's just a console bro, why the bad attitude, relax, it's pointless to argue about disagreements. Some people love red other black they have the right to love what they want. You love Sony I love my PC and Linux and we are all friends again ^_^

One teacher once said. In xx country ( I don't want to name it because some people might get angry) you read the newspaper from the left political party then the news from the right party and in the end you make up your own opinion. But in our country every newspaper is trashing the same crap.
@abHS4L88 the ONLY realistic racer XD that was a good one heheheh. There is no doubt that Sega really was doing very well as a 1st party developer still I think they were too much holding at their "arcade style" for my taste. hmm well it would be interesting (or maybe not) to see Nintendo go as a 3rd party dev.
Which other consoles do you own? Do you play many PC games as well? Have you ever played any DOS games. Oh man it's so nostalgic to talk about that stuff ^_^
