Lets be real here people.Why would Sony sell their Blu-ray players or lend their rights to M$?If, as everyone seems to think, M$ is dominating the gaming world, why in the heck would Sony want to allow another company, already "dominating", to get even greater with their product?In all seriousness, the only thing that could possibly be updated in any next-gen console, is the Kinect (like in this post), even FASTER wireless connection for better online, or if somehow an even BIGGER, BETTER and more ACCESSIBLE way of gaming is introduced, otherwise, this is all just junk material to get your attention.
@Lord_Python1049 I realize it was to create discussion, but all the discussion is about Tom not understanding its for entertainment purposes which I do believe entertainment is usually fun, no? Also what he fails to understand is that the developer is trying to tell him that everything in the game is authentic, but not necessarily realistic for the sake of it being fun and attractive. I personally would not want to create an entire game and use all my hard earned money on a game that wont sell, wont be fun, but will be realistic enough to cater to only a few peoples tastes instead of the many millions that it could otherwise; and in saying that, I believe that is what the developer is trying to say.
Honestly....Xbox 720 and PS4? What is there to upgrade?! Lets be real here, there isn't a need for an upgrade any-time soon. Graphics wise, games are still quite realistic looking, and most will say "Get a PC, its better" but with upgradable slots for ANYTHING, of course it will be, but the versatility of a little PS3 console compared to a chunky electricity sucking PC tower is a lot different. And who would buy a new Xbox720 or PS4? What would be the difference? The only time the Xbox or PS is going to upgrade is when a new way of playing video games will be introduced. (aka The PS1 = CD. PS2 = DVD. PS3 = Blu-ray) In my opinion, the next console wont be released for a few more years yet, but when it is, every game will be downloadable or stream-able, and nobody will have to worry about scratching discs or faulty disc readers.
@Lord_Python1049 I do believe everyone has their right to their own opinion, and mine is that this Tom guy doesn't know what the difference between FUN and AUTHENTIC compared to BORING and REALISTIC is.

Regenerating health isn't just in MoH: Warfighter, but also CoD, Battlefield and a tonne more! This Greg Goodrich is a top bloke! I think this Tom guy needs to get a new job. The game STORY is Authentic! The game COMBAT ISN'T!! IT NEVER WILL BE UNLESS WE GET HOLOGRAPHIC GAMES! Honestly Tom.....get it through you thick skull!!.....THE GAME STORY IS AUTHENTIC! THE GUNS ARE AUTHENTIC! THE PEOPLE ARE AUTHENTIC! THE COMBAT ISN'T BECAUSE HE WANTS IT TO BE FUN!! HOW MANY TIMES DOES HE HAVE TO SAY IT?!?!?!I got an idea! Put this Tom McShea in the Tier 1 Operators shoes (so send him to a REALISTIC (in other words REAL) world battlefield) and see if he would enjoy being in a place where he knows one minute he could be alive, then the next, dead. Maybe then he can understand why they want to make the game FUN and AUTHENTIC, but not entirely REALISTIC!Go get another job Tom!
