don't really care about the upgraded graphics so much as them fixing the problems that plagued the original xbox release.....graphic shadows after completing a level to have them in the next level, which makes it difficult to see things, all the texture popping as you come up to an object (in game) and texture popping in cutscenes. by the time this comes out and is affordable (and Vista is partially fixed), I'll be too busy playing Halo3 on my 360 with the rest of the world and won't care about this...
great, so now when I play a game I can have up to 600 friends distract me from my gaming while they kill time surfing the net on their pc. good thinking. yippee, you can enlarge your ego AND become a braggart by sending your friends new achievements that they don't care about (good for you, you completed 100 games of Hexic HD--now go outside and get a life!!) could care less about customization, just keep bringing out great games and improving the online play. and lemme know when you make the update that gets me food and drinks while I game so I can become the ultimate couch potato--I'm too lazy to mod a roomba with my wiimote to control it to do all that.....
One of the upsides to Nintendo's proprietary disc format, they made the GameCube to have extremely fast load times....presumably this SHOULD carry over to the Nintendo Wii. (All hail Nintendo for cartridges, albeit expensive and small memory size)..... But why should we get used to these load times?? I don't enjoy waiting for my xbox, xbox360, or ps1/2 games loading at all!! Even movies suck in this regard nowadays....all the Interpol warnings, copyright, sometimes mandatory previews that won't allow you to skip forward....blech! I'd probably buy a ds/psp but spend enough time/money on all the main consoles (so no, not a fanboy of any camp--just someone who really appreciates the best games that each system has to offer), and who really wants to go back to a tiny screen when you can play on a large HD screen anyways? (the same reason I don't bother upgrading my ipod to an ipod video).w
