@KintokiKenpachi @hayato_ @Lynx_7 I love gaming too much lol. Its my hobby. I do love to read books and I do spend time in those mediums almost as much as I do with gaming. I own as many books, movies, and graphic novels as much as I do games.

Asura's Wrath currently got my attention with its story presentation and it was fun. The Last Story as well. Ni NO Kuni is one I recently finished and Studio Gibli and Level 5 did a fabulous job with that. Catherine is also another game which had the Persona team and production IG work on it and presented a fun a quirky story.

I also like the other games as well, Halo Reach is my all time fav FPS when I had a 360 and I'm currently playing Red Faction Armagedden because its just fun to me. So that is why I choose all the mediums to dab into. Currently about to try the back to the future games on PSN and start reading the Dexter book series

@Lynx_7 @hayato_ Thats saying that QTE's get in the way of everything for every gamer. I actually found them very engaging especially with the scenes where you could cut off your finger or when you were in the car.

Again, like I said before its just the type of gamer that I am. What Cage I think is getting at is tapping into those gamers that just don't look forward to strictly great combat, design systems, etc in a game. Some people prefer story over anything else, no matter what gameplay element is implemented be it QTEs, hack n slash, RPG, etc

@RustedTruck650 @hayato_ That good solid combat is not enough for me personally. Its just too boring for me to play. If it had a strong narrative though like Cage suggests some games need, I'd probably beaten it by now. Its just the type of gamer that I am.

I agree with him. When I look at games, like Demons Souls for instance, alot of games could benefit from stronger narratives. Demons Souls had great gameplay, but no story or interesting narrative. One reason why it still sits on my shelf collecting dust in my backlog. Its just so damn boring in between transitions. I'm very looking forward to Beyond Two souls now
