it is hard to compare these 2 games in the sense that everyone is jumping to "ooh mine is bigger than yours, argument!".

GT5P is a race-sim to the fullest extent of the idea. On the other hand GRiD is all out arcade. However if you look at the racing experience, content, replay value, online play, and the full value of the package i'd would strongly recommend to go with GRiD. Check out my review of both of the games if you need extra info GT5p Review, and GRiD review

Hope that helps man!

It is not even a question if that is true or not. Sony has clearly stated what game are supporting the trophy systems, and that VAST MAJORITY of the futures titles will support it as well. Reason for no retroactive capability are the downloadble files of 100% game completion for virtually any game you want. This would cause utter chaos if allowed, and Sony is just going to start from this point forward.

Sad yes, i am sure that just like me all of you have some major completions that you would like to upload, but the fact is also (and as gamers we know this better than anyone) cheaters are abound, and the level of abuse would be untold. My hopes are that third-party developers pick up on the system imediatelly, and we see it implemented in EVERY game released after this week!

of that list i'd defintely pick up Darkness. While Motorstorm is amazing and still pretty active online the devs have cut out the support in order to work on 2 so you wont be getting much out of it untill its completely cut out.

Also look for a $20-25 deal on DMC4. if you can find that i'd say thats your choice number 1.

yes they have to be on your PS3 drive, and also it helps to have the originals. If you have a lot of burned CD's i'd recommend uploading them to something like iTunes and acquiring cover artwork, and than uploading them on PS3. All those options will yeild in album covers being displayed!

not to be a prick about the whole thing, but lets be realistic here. One, the game is old and by the time it comes around why would you really care about it? There are so many amazing titles coming to PS3 that Gears and BioShock are not going to have much of an impact, at least for me!

i really wish time would move backwards as well, but it doesnt :P. so we'll be looking towards march 09 for GoW. I certainly am excited about that, but i do hope that mix it up a bit, the PSP one was more or less the same as before, and i would like to see some new elements on the next gen console!

yeah as long as its not searing hot you are ok. I've had mine on for days either just idle, playing or Folding, and it has gotten VERY hot. So unless you are capable of heating up food on it dont worry, just keep it somewhere rather ventilated!

i was going to say the same, check if it happens in any other game. I had 2 guildmates who are roommates and they couldnt play CoD and MGO beta at same time. so finaly one of them bought a damn CAT5 and the other one is running wireless and there is no problems any more!

i use in-car 100% of the time offline and about 50-60% of the time while online! it is actually easier and you get a better feel for the car than with the standard view. not to mention that it looks absolutely amazing!
