@doktron All the complex dialogue and intriguing story in the short span of five minutes and you fixate on button prompts? I'm glad I don't play games for the same reasons you do.
I agree with different games different protagonist. If you're going to be in a world with dragons or dudes in mech suits it makes little since to be the guy running the other direction or getting blown into a million pieces. Heavy Rain however is a great game without people with superpowers or abilities.
I think most of those people like the feeling of riding on the highest horse in the bunch. They also end up complaining about complaining which seems odd to me.
Valid argument, but not one I consider major. I thought Mass Effect 3 was a great game for the most of the ride and after three games I was impressed it kept it that way. While I won't make an account on Metacritic just to give it a 0, I do think the ending detracted from my enjoyment of the series. I don't need a "Hollywood" ending, but something where my decisions from previous games mattered would have been nice.
You'd be amazed what people are capable of when you hit the right nerve. Game developers obviously haven't hit the biggest, brightest, glowing orange spot yet.
