this is a league recruitment thread.

league goals:

- run up to the release of madden 16

- fill league with active team managers

- have a league committee

- complete organization

- trades will be awarded to active team managers only

- real football simulation

- keep new team managers interested in joining a team by not blowing up a teams roster with bad trades, or too many trades

- mature

- openminded/in favor of the majority

- a league message board to support everything else needed, which will also include EASportsWorld Madden 15 website app for team management controls

sign up through our league message board and stand by

[QUOTE="grudensjockstra"]

ps, most old schoolers would get crushed by todays school. competition alone has changed dramatically through the decades..

you have more HS bball teams, more players, more low effort and more high effort players, more humans,
more techniques crammed into practice nowadays, better nutrients, better workout equiptment, better coaches, surgery that lets bad@$$es continue to play.. etc etc

same as the mlb, nfl, grocery story, hospitals, etc.. sorry to say

peacebringer

your wrong you can't teach heart, what you said is a theory but it's not true at all. the old school practiced shooting more and nowadays people practice posting up and dunking and other stuff. the old school can kill you from far. So by your theory the Pittburgh Steelers Steel curtain defense won't be as dominating? wrong they had "HEART" and they played angry and hit and were trying to murder you. Unless there taking steroids wich is cheating. It took how long to break the HR record? You do know they play more games than they did when Ruth set it? your theory has holes in it. there may be a greater overall differance but those good players will still be good today.

i dont think you can grade heart, especially with all of the players that played way back when. u probably have no idea how most of them acted. plus, teams do practice shooting more these days.. one way u can tell is just by looking at how more tough the defenses play, and also the increase in shot percentage in the field, against those tougher defense.

imo, heart puts the final edge on an allstar, but what they possess most importanly is the skills.

hey guys. dont mean to spam, but might be killing 2 birds with one stone here. that is by adding more members to this sim league, and also to give you guys a chance to join a pretty cool NCAA sim league.

whats in a ncaa sim league?

5 teams including; U of Miami (im the AD), notre dame, texas, oregon, and army, will recruit members/freshman to build on their teams success. the freshman/prospects will also be doing personal things such as, taking tests/predictions IE: NBA Draft, etc, and for all of the things they get right, or extra stuff they do around the league (work), they will get points for their player. you also have the chance to join work out programs that will also benefit your skills, and also purchase equipment such as gloves or cleates, that will also give your ratings a boost.

next yr when we get even more members to join, i believe the LM will be opening up 4-5 more teams for the most experienced members to AD. the LM is really looking for the most knowledgable members out there, who he can rely on, rather than giving a AD job to a friend. and a lot of you guys seem to have the potential

and if i were you, if you are joining, i would only walk on to a team, rather than signing a scholarship. thatll let you transfer at any time, preferably if you become an AD yourself.

any more questions, stop by the league and see for yourself. and hopefully ill catch ya later.
