@Commander_Snowy @SwimSwimHungry if you get used to it then ofc its going to be acceptable. The point with windows 8 being horrible is that people need to not only re-learn how an OS works, but also it doesnt change it for the better.
performance wise ofc its better. but if people dont like how it works due to it not being practical, except for microsoft to have 1 OS size fits all, then they wont accept the change.
Change is not always accepted lightly specially when they tried changing and fixing something that everyone was used to and liked it.
But their biggest mistake is in fact not giving people the option to have multiple types of UI. that way people who like windows 8 lame ui could stick with it and others who did not like it could change to look like windows 7.
that way everyone would be happy. But they didnt do that and the result is alienation because most people dont like being forced fed something.
windows 8 sucks. who the hell came up with the idea to make pcs have the same ui as phones. there is a reason phones and tablets have horrible ui . The only reason windows 8 is selling its because when people buy computers right now it comes with windows 8 as standard. The software itself might be an upgrade to windows 7 but the user interface is a disastrous carwreck
One of the problems of a service that requires connection, when the company decides, the service goes down. Even worse when its games that require constant online connection.
That being said Wii had a pitifull online service. Ps3 and xbox are lightyears away
what world does he live in ? if graphics were so important then minecraft wouldnt be as popular as it is, and it is way more popular than anything crytek has done....
Gameplay is 80% of a game that includes good game mechanics. if a game is good no one will care about how it looks.
all games with exception of mmos, even if they want to lure people into online should have an offline singleplayer specially since the market is so saturated most games wont last 5 years. And then you are left with a product that cannot be played/used. tbh im still playing games from 5 to 10 years ago. thanks to the fact they have offline and some of them also have multiplayer but since its not the type of forced online always huge servers bullshit i can actually play both online and offline even if the companies that both distributed and created the game are gone.
why do they keep coming up with stupid gimmicks and taking away what is already perfect, just to have the excuse to sell a "new" thing. -_- , the current generations of console are doing fine and rushing to the next generation wont be the smartest thing, the advancements will be minimal. and most people are stranded for cash coz of all the political banking corruption that has collapsed many countries economics. denial denial denial /facepalm
im all for good government, and an organized country that regulates excesses and defends its people, consumers etc.
but most politicians are useless and only bend over to private interests , it has come to a point in history that in most countries in the world, the income inequality is sooooo big soooo big that some people cound run their own private country .
all thanks to politicians who sold out instead of defending the people that voted for them. why must someone be so greedy that having 1 billion in your bank account is not enough, its just sick.
so politicians are the biggest problem of the 21st century. and unlike "popular" belief, what makes me want to kill is not videogames but stupid politicians who allow pollution of air , water food and screw everyone just to get banks and private interests their overwhelming profit because 100% profit is not enough.
