hopefully game companies will see that by following a platform of giving the gamer what they want is the right thing as opposed to creating a game to give the game companies the money they want in a steady cashflow.

the fact torchlight has LAN , no monthly subscription , option to play online or offline for 1 purchase is to some epic, but used to be standard.

This is why diablo 3 in my opinion has failed. I want to play videogames and not have blizzard or EA pimping me for money.

Smokers are not being forced to stop smoking, they can smoke as much as they want, but they should not be allowed to do it where they can harm others.

I always liked the Old Republic era, the world that Bioware created is extremely detailed and interesing, it's too bad that there aren't more games or other things based on the era.(are there any books that take place in the Old Republic? ) Lonelynight

There are several novels from before during and after the galactic empire era maybe look into them.

Personally i never looked into eras. They are all advance tecnological , and in fact old republic actually is portrayed as having better more advance tecnology instead of just cheap but effective style that comes during the galactic empire.

From all the stories on star wars my favorite is the Thrawn triology. Thrawn rules ^^
