Gears of War series. NEVER liked them. I own the first one because I got it for Christmas. I got to the last boss, didn't have enough ammo in all my guns to kill him. Didn't care enough to keep trying.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is a great little platformer. I'd definitely recommend playing it but not one to purchase.

I'm looking for a solid, entertaining sports title for the DS. If I had to pick a sport it would have to be basketball or hockey. I'm open to games that have multiple sports on one cartridge but only if each game has a lot of depth to it. I'm trying to steer clear of the more cartoony, non-challenging games that the DS seems to attract. Your help is appreciated. I already checked out the GameSpot search and a lot of them seem to be released but unrated and I hate making uninformed game purchases, especially for hand helds. I'm also looking for a good racer for the DS. There seem to be quite a few in this department but visuals on the DS always make me hesitate when buying racing games for the DS. I'm only looking for a street racing one with car customization. I know that pretty much limits it to NFS or Midnight Run or whatever it's called but I'm never sure which to get. Any suggestions?

[QUOTE="greedom"]The great thing about your system being backed by Microsoft is that they don't have to come up with original ideas. They will just buy the original stuff off the creators right under the nose of Sony either making it a multiplatform game or leaving Sony for Microsoft entirely. At the very least Microsoft will just buy some exclusive DLC lol.M4NI4K

This wasn't the case with Xbox1 though. It had an abundance of original and good games. Where did these all go? Dead Rising seems to be one of the few games that has had a unique approach. All the other games were just a safe bet for Microsoft.

I'm looking forward to Red Faction too though that is also multiplatform. I just wish there were more games like Alan Wake or Dead Rising.. that sorta thing.

That was before all the video game companies were aquired by super game companies. The original ideas are tapped out, they're just improving on series that have an established fan base as it's far more profitable. New ideas creates risk. It's far better to be a hermit. To be fair though, The 360 had a great 2008. The video game industry is slowing right now because of the economy and a slew of games just came out over and slightly before Christmas. You can't expect them to have smash titles coming out every month. The industry always slows as the year ends. Once we get a little further into the year and the future doesn't look so bleak, I'm sure more great titles will be released. Besides, you have the first episode of DLC for GTA 4 to look forward to this month and another episode is sure to come out this year. That's my guess anyway.

Haha oh my, I wonder if MS Staff will catch onto that, I know in WoW if a mod finds you have an inappropriate name, they'll force you to change it (assuming you get past the inappropriateness filter which is pretty easy to do).

If they do add the flood I'm sure their vehicles will just be some sort of quick moving living organism, a fluid sack or something that your other flood can enter but I don't think they're in the game.

Have no fear my son, for should MS not come out with original material, MS shall throw money at content owners until they bring the game and some exclusive DLC to the 360.
