By far, Company of Heroes. It has a tad bit of an Arcade game, but you can't go wrong. World in Conflict looks great, but a few of my friends have it and played it, and have gone back to Company of Heroes.

Ditto!! I'm 49 yers old (and about to turn 50), but I won't give up gaming. I find it a great release for stress and the normal doldrums of everyday routines. Don't get me wrong; gaming has its' place, and that should be when all the work is done and all the responsibilities melt away after a long day. But, asa member of a family that grew up with the Commodore 64, Atari 2600 and 5200, NES and then the Genesis, it's become second nature to me. I gave up console play about 9 years ago (except for the occasional play with my daughter and my oldest son/daughter about the same time) for the pc and there hasn't been any looking back ever since. I see nothing wrong gaming as long as it's in moderation and it doesn't interfere with work, family or home responsibilities. You'd be surprised how many gamers there are (pc and console) over the age of 40 out there. In addition, after retiring from the Department of Defense 3 years ago, you wouldn't believe how many gamers I've had for clients that are over 50 and contract me to build mid to top of the line gaming systems. It's a medium of entertainment and it just isn't going to go away. You can either embrace it or or let it slip through your fingers. Also, it keeps my mind sharp and my reflexes in top shape.

Gamestop stores no longer give cash for exchanged games. They've been slowly phasing in that policy for about the past 6-8 months. The local store here stopped giving cash about a year ago only awarding in store credit. Eventually, all Gamestop stores will only issue in store credit. It has to do with a large volume of inventory sitting on the shelves due to the fact that Gamestop has been in the red for quite some time.

Although these temps aren't that alarming for the short term, I wouldn't advise running your rigs at these temps for more than a couple hours, especially those of you with G90 chip graphics cards.Your system may be stable, and hell, may not even shut down and reboot, but over the long haul, heat is a major killer of chips, boards and graphics cards. Let's face it, I didn't dump $500+ pesos just to cut my cards life in half. In a word, COOLING!! It's your best bud. Ihave a massive Thermaltake heat sink on my AMD 5200 AM2, 4 120mm fans in my case (2 intake and 2 exhaust, and a pci cooling fan. Remember, yourmost importantparts are made of plastic. What happens to plastic when you apply heat?? 'Nuff said.

As far as developers making games universal for all systems, that will never happen. Have you ever heard of a couple little things such asexclusive rights, competition and PROFIT?!

Although there are a few FPS that DO support controller play (configuration within the setup of the game), you're going to find that most of the sports games support it. I find it that I wouldn't play an FPS, supported or not, with a controller. You have more control, faster reflex times, and can remap everything in the game to the keyboard giving you a quick access to all your actions.

I'm going to have to go with Bioshock. Prior to its' release, it was Half Life 2, but Bioshock just blew it out of the water.

If you're planning to play games, stay away from the systems with integrated graphics.  The integratedgpu's are way below sub standard when it comes to playing mid to high end games.  It's better to spend a little extra and get a system with a dedicated PCI-e card, or better yet, build your own.

There's always the old "Control-Alt-Del" method.  This will bring you to the Task Manager, and from there, you can end the task manaully.
