GTA4 has an auto save though? unless you have this turned off...

Can be a little annoying I guess, but those things are quickly replaceable...could have been worse.. hope you have learnt your lesson :P

people complaining about the slow pace remember it almost has rpg like elements to the game we are all level ones as u progress u get faster running and so onbigLLL

fair point but I dont want to get killed because some one can run rings around me cos of their level (I know match making should stop that happening). However I dont want to have to play for hours just to be able to run at a reasonable pace...

I take that back then, I think its because i was trying to move at the same time. My mistake.

I have gone back in to play again...and i still hate how slow it is. Just a run button would be nice..and I still find changing guns over fiddly, why cant i just press R2 to cycle thro weapons instead of...R2 then the stick.

I'm sure it will really be some people's cup of tea, it looks nice and there is clearly depth to it. For me though, I'm going back to CoD :) I just prefer the pace of it

Yeah, I'm playing TDM right now and out of the ten games i played, this is the only one where the players are acting as a team. Alot of the time you have rouges who run-and-gun but its more exciting and satisfying when you are all in formation and there is heaps of conversation and 'yes sir's.

That's probably a fair point...it is very slow and team based...but from what I found no one was interested in being a team (but this has only been up a few hours, and most ppls lack of headsets didnt help!)

I fun way to play is to go for the CQC kills, all that sort of thing. Its more satisfying and you get more kills through the use of hostages. Its heaps of fun.

Fair enough I might go in and give it another shot...I did enjoy running around in a box :P

I think you should try it tomorrow, it's only been up a little while, so let the community grow before you judge it severely.

I'm not trying to judge it too severly...I think anyone who wants a slow paced team game will really enjoy it...just not sure at the moment if thats for me.

Right im gonna log on again see if it will grow on me :)

Think it depends on your expecations and what you like..the game is quite slow paced if you are used to playing a CoD. That was what I didn't like anyway

I know! Spent ages mucking about trying to decipher how the ID codes work..all the various numbers, letters and slashes...then it gets delayed...download all these patches... and then get into it and I'm completly under whelmed.

It wasn't a bad multiplayer game by any stretch, but I would just rather spend my gaming time playing something else..shame really, had high hopes.
