Well, if you like Skyrim then ESO is good. I've enjoyed it so far. I think you may want to look into RIFT, it's a tab target instead of the live action like ESO, but if your looking at WoW then your ok with that. RIFT has a very dynamic environment with rifts opening up at any moment, changing the terrain around it and the creatures coming out of it headed to the current town your standing in. Get ready to defend it! Or run away...lol whatever. This is probably still my favorite MMO, because I can play the way I want. Just like PVP? You can max lvl and max your gear out just pvping. Love story? Go for it. Dungeon diving and also a system that just throws you straight into the action for gear and levels so you can try out those new builds quickly.

The soul system allows you to play your character the way you want. Feel like healing? Switch your souls around for healing spec, same for tank, dps and support. Anyways, I think you get a full game for free here, and just pay for perks, but that's just my opinion! :D

Well, I can say my rig doesn't stack up with maddenbowler10's but I just don't see a frame rate problem. Of course I may not be as big a stickler as you guys about it, I'm not sure. As long as I don't really notice any sort of lag, I'm fine with it, or if the lag is minimal, which I expect with any mmo, then I live with it. Is this my old school gamer ways showing, or have you guys been in the gaming circle a while as well? I hail back, mmo wise, to Dark Age of Camelot myself, it was my first MMORPG.

Ok, I'm no expert computer builder, but I've built a few. First thing I'd worry about is overheating, and sense your a beginner, I'll ask some beginner questions. Did you apply cpu past between the cpu and the motherboard? I believe most cpu's come with some on them, but a LITTLE bit more doesn't hurt. Just a little dad gum it, too much is bad as well, lol.

Have you pushed everything in snugly? Yeah, sounds dumb, but noobs to PC building are trying not to break things, and it's hard to learn how hard you really need to push that RAM to be sure all pins are touching.

Are all the fans plugged in? This ones an easy one to miss (even though you did say your fans are running), but if your cpu fan isn't plugged in, that thing's not gonna boot. Also on that note, is everything plugged into your power supply, including your mother board? So the mother board needs power and your hard drives need power and again, all your fans, then any other extras like dvd-roms and such.

Also, when I had a similar thing happening, with just the fans coming on, it was a power supply problem. My problem was that I had a defective one, and replaced it and boom, all was well. That's a possibility, or your power supply isn't big enough for what your wanting it to do. I know! I didn't look at all the specs, this is just a general idea, forgive me, I'm lazy.

This is the joy of PC building, ANY part can be defective right out of the factory. If you have multiple sticks of ram, take em all out but one and see if it boots. If it doesn't, go to the next one and try again. If you have a spare power supply, plug it in, does it boot? No? Then on to the next thing! I think this may be the main reason us PC peeps keep so many spare parts lying around.

Oh boy, is that helpful in ANY way? LOL I'll be honest, I'd be willing to get on skype with ya and take a look at what your do'n if you want. Let me know! Peace!

I didn't go through all the replies, but I'm always one to say, if something MIGHT need upgraded, and I have a few extra bucks to do so, why not?

I think this is the question for every system though, right? There's always a bottleneck somewhere, RAM, GPU, CPU, what's the weakest link? Find it, and frig'n upgrade it!

@MaddenBowler10: I wasn't able to get on this weekend, but so far neither lag or bad frame rates have been an issue for me.

It just happens in Daggerfall? I've actually looked into this a bit and am not really coming up with anything. I was really hoping I could help. If the drop in frame rate is ONLY in Daggerfall, I'd find that strange, but a dip in all the major cities would make sense.

I play ESO on the weekends with my wife and a friend (when we get time) and I love it. I'm enjoying the BIG update a lot, even though it feels a little goofy to see people getting hacked down by the guards all the time cuz they got caught stealing again. Or you take a practice swing with your weapon and smack some innocent by standard and get killed by the guards yourself. LoL I love it.

Wow, such a hard choice! I'm big on story but I'll admit that I've played plenty of games with out one and enjoyed the crap out of them! I'm also loving how low the votes for graphics are on this pole. 8-bit graphics are back baby! Deal with it!

I'm just enjoying the current generation of gaming I'm in where indie games are booming and the triple A's are trying to keep up! :D

I haven't read all the replies to this, but I think I'm old by teen standards. I owned an Atari when I was a kid, but my brother, my cousin, and my self argued over it so much my dad cracked it over his knee, literally. Then we got a Nintendo which my dad played Mario in front of us for HOURS before he let us get a hold of it! Jerk. Then the Super Nintendo! Yes!

Then, exactly what you're fearful of, happened. Our house burned down, and all those things where gone. Including my frig'n comic books! NOOOOO! It was truly a hard thing, but you'll find out that holding the physical thing in your hands can't compare to the actual memories it created.

So with my old man knowledge (I'm 35, that's old right?) I would HATE losing all the current things I love and those things that give me that nostalgia, but I know nothing can take away those awesome memories! :D Oh, and I'd probably shoot myself in the foot as well...just to dull the pain for a bit.
