Stop complaining about things like that... The console will sell out when good games appears in a year or two.
And the reason why it make that much noise in the beginning is the fault of Sony. With all their marketting problems and their battery for computer exploding everywhere, it was nothing to help the sales...
If you want to know, i'll get my hand on a ps3 as well, in due time!
It's a shame, but the people here are right, nothing will change. In fact, some things will change cause now there is not only microsoft that are doing this kind of thing but Sony and Nintendo too...
You know, Producing games cost a lot of money these days and i think the companies get their money back that way! I'm not excusing them, but i'm saying that it is a reality that we'll have to live with...
PS2 is probably the biggest hardware crap ever made, with the PS3 of course. So buying a used one is like risking to waste a lot of money for a month or two of gameplay before it breaks.
Don't get me wrong, i like the ps2 but what i say is you should buy a new one!
you shouldn't do that anyway! there is still great games on the ps2 and the ps3 do not accept ps2 memory card, unless you buy the other thing to transfer your save games...
