Max Payne as a series blows Uncharted out of the water, way better story and gunplay, the only thing Uncharted excels at is hand holding QTE borefest with scripted events and some of the most mediocre gunplay out there. But as long as Sony keeps paying off reviewers it'll still get a 9
Gameorama11's forum posts
Metroid Prime, Meta Ridley, Omega Pirate, Dark Samus, Emperor Ing, Boost Guardian, Krauser.
Otherwise the boss fights in Vanquish and Prime 3 were good, but that's about it for shooters. Most shooters don't have good boss fights, they are usually straight up, 100% trash like the ones found in Destiny or Uncharted 2's final boss fight, or Wolfenstein, or Bioshock, or Crysis, or whatever.
Which makes sense because the amount of western devs good at boss fights can be counted on two fingers, and on balance the shooter genres are western dominated.
Meta Ridley was a terrible boss fight though, when you get him down to like 10 percent health they somehow nerf the damage you do him and the fight ends up dragging on for like another 20 minutes. Agree with everything else though, Prime 2 had some good boss fights despite being shit overall
Halo's one of the last FPS's to have a good campaign in every iteration. Reach was my favorite.
You have to be joking, almost every halo campaign since the first has been a snoozefest.
lol , Halo 3's campaign, especially the Covenant level pretty much set the bar for campaign missions in any game, being able to fight 2 Scarabs in an open sandbox with tons of shit going at once is better than anything any other campaing has to offer.
@kinectthedots
Lol damn dude, compressed videos? Everytime I see you you always embarrass yourself, have some self respect bro
Hopefully it won't be a linear, hand holding corridor shooter with QTE's galore, terrible AI, terrible story, scripted events every 5 minutes and mediocre gun play like Uncharted. Maybe it'll be above an AA series which is what Naughty Fraud games would be if Sony wasn't paying off reviewers with what little money they have.
Between those 2?> XBL and it's not even close
PSN towers over XBL when it comes to having poor support, getting hacked, getting credit card info stolen, slow downloads, lag, slow connection times, going down every hour, maintenance taking forever, and the biggest community of mouth breathers.
They don't bother me, and they seem to be decent for the most part, they get appropriate scores and Activision doesn't have to pay off reviewers like Sony does when it comes to Naughty Fraud games.
Reggie would be a disaster, he was nothing more than Iwata (RIP) lackey, in fact I was pretty sure Iwata had his hand up Reggie's ass and was working him like a puppet
And you are the defender of the Xbone? Or PC?
I replied to salt , yet you got buthurt.
I'm not glued to a system , unlike you , so what's so wrong to throw the 1st stone in a specific direction , where most of you just throw it in a general direction?
No, I was simply making the opposite side of the coin known, that is in general what I do.
Never seen a positive comment from you about a Sony product yet.
Care to mention some now , or are we in full "shit mode" for that?
Here is mine , the Kinect is good - outside of gaming - and no , that is not to be taken as a negative.
I've left plenty of positive comments, however they are sparse. The PlayStation 4 to me seems like it's being mismanaged, it's a raging success as a system but what has actually been accomplished and done by Sony is minute. My biggest quarrel is with them, they don't seem to really be pushing the PlayStation 4 forward, or fixing things with it, updating things, incorporating user feedback or bettering their network. They go in the upwards of 4-5 months without changing or doing anything with the system and they don't seem to actually listen. Just as an example their controller battery life is complete shit and the thumb sticks break down and and fall apart and people have complained since the beginning, what do they do? They dim the light on the bar via software and don't give people a means to actually turn it off, and in terms of the thumb sticks they're still shitty and fall apart. They haven't reiterated the controller with a better battery, or created a removable option so people can switch them out, they've done next to nothing.
What has Microsoft done with the complaints regarding their controller? Worked to rectify the issues, released another iteration of the controller incorporating feedback, hell they're even releasing another controller entirely, the Pro controller. That's my problem man, nothing seems to get done, it's like their R&D department is hibernating half of the year. I enjoy my PlayStation 4 in spite of its issues but you get to a certain point where shit just has got to change, and it's not, it's just perpetual stagnation and ignoring the user base.
Sony is fucking broke, and a broke company translates directly to poor support regardless of how powerful the console is or how far ahead it is in sales.
what did you expect? Sony is ran by morons who couldn't run a lemonade stand, people can shit talk MS all they want, in the end MS gets results and MS pushes the Xbox One forward, they have money, Sony has nothing but the souls of millions of fanboys.
