I think they're both fine.

Overall as a cohesive functioning service with a much better network and security, Live hands down.

But psn crushes Xbox in sales, and the + games are much better than GMG

They both suck. My imaginary vote goes for Steam & GoG.

PSN solely because the sales are actually good, I don't give a damn about playing online with consoles.

Xbox Live's stability is a strong point, but PS+ is cheaper and you get more games from PS+. Maybe XBL could say it was giving better games, but even that i think would be incorrect, because Velocity 2x, Resogun, and Rocket League are pretty damn good.

PSN has the better "free games" by a long shot but that shit goes down weekly. I guess it all depends on what you want out of your paid service. Better gimmes, or better stability. Both could be better for my money.......

Since I am an employed individual my vote goes for XBL though. I bought Rocket League on PC because I want the dev to have my money. (And a locked framerate) Same for OlliOlli2 and any other PSN game I want to succeed. I guess my vote goes to stability over freebies but I can see both sides. Games for Gold have been pretty lame.

I like Live more because the friends I have on PSN still don't use the damn mic!! It came with the PS4 people!! Not a criticism of the community, just my friends on PSN. My Xbox friends at times look to chat too much. Plus I like This week on Xbox, and other things for the community feel. Both function though.

Those aren't Service Providers which dictate how your Xbox Live or PSN services will be like.

Aren't PS+ games tied to your subscription? I would personally rather have the game always be mine instead of depending on the status of my subscription. I'd have to give it to XBL just for its overall reliability.

Where that myth that PSN has better sales come from? And this month actually GWG offerings trump those of PS+ and along with the recent announcement of trying to make all 360 GWG backwards compatible with Xbone, as well as permanent addition of another game for Xbone might make it a really legit service.

PSN is the lesser of the two evils but at least XBL is more stable.

I'm happy with PS+, Sony improved the service and the content is great.. However I still believe Steam is the best online service.

Live is far better than PSN. I get that PSN has better free games at times, but it pales in comparison when it comes to functionality. How could anyone say PSN <Live when it fails to even function properly so often.

Between the 2, it seems xbLIVE tends to not go down every week like PSN, though the GwG suck.

Well , for 2 reasons it's not on the poll.

1 - The OG poll was a straight troll for the Steam side with a really offensive pic.

2 - You don't pay yearly for steam to use the MP.Unless you do now?

Seems like you made an arbitrary rule up just to not include Steam.

Sure Steam is free, but it's miles better than payed services and that speaks volumes.

GWG on Xbone are also tied to your required Xbox Live Gold subscription. M$ announced the GWG change that ties the GWG games to an active XBLG subscirption way back before the Xbone got it's first GWG games.

For the record, I own all 18 GWG games released for my Xbone.

Steam. Paid online subs are part of the reason I threw up my hands and built a Pc instead of buying an xbone or PS4. Not paying for you taking away things that should be free and putting them behind a paywall.

PSN towers over XBL when it comes to having poor support, getting hacked, getting credit card info stolen, slow downloads, lag, slow connection times, going down every hour, maintenance taking forever, and the biggest community of mouth breathers.
