A off putting cartoon style, reminds me of Kingdom Rush. I would usually grab the new Civilization but I'll wait until more voices pipe in before buying it. It's not like the game is going anywhere.

Good fair review. I have been playing the game and I've been enjoying it and will continue to play it. It's always fascinating to see the way people will praise and raise something up, a game or a person and idealize it or them and then absolutely wreck it when the game or a person turns out to be mortal. It happens every single time. It will be interesting to see what will change in the game over time and it will be grand to see what unexpected game emerges like No Man's Sky to push back the boundaries of games even further. Good times.

Well, to each his own. That list wasn't near what I liked this year. I hate platform games, I hate hate hate puzzle hopping platform games and I am not fond of sports games so that takes four of those games out of my like zone of comfort. Still these lists are good to look at to see what's out there. So many games, so little time.

Totally hate the Patriots but that was pretty good. Thanks Gamespot.

@redcarnivalred: Oh for goodness sake, the poster decided everyone was stupid for playing a game he/she/it thought was stupid. If you say 'In my opinion' this game is stupid fair enough. If you say 'this game is stupid and everyone who plays it is stupid' well then we have a problem. It's a free game, play it or don't play it. And even if it's not a free game, you have a choice of paying for a game and playing it or not. You have a right to an opinion. You don't have the right to tell everyone that they are stupid for buying it, playing it or liking it. You can expect people to tell you what they think of you.

@rosinmonkekyx17: It works fine on iPad Air 2 and iPhone 6. I know a lot of things that work less well on older iPhones and iPads. That does suck.

@redcarnivalred: I'm baffled that you are baffled. Does everyone on your planet only like the things you like? Because on this planet different people like different things. For me, on this planet I find the game fun and am playing it to this day. And it being free is double bonus time.

Well you know, their game of the year doesn't have to be your game of the year. I never take it personally if some gaming authority thinks something is the greatest game on the planet while that same game leaves me cold. Like someone else deciding who the sexiest man or woman of the year is. Really now, it's all in good fun and we can all discuss the pros and cons of each game. Hearing the passion for Divinity makes me notice the game and put it on my list. So it's all good right?
