The first thing that one should consider before making video game movies, is sticking to the source material. Casting people that look nowhere near the actual characters is a bad idea and it has nothing to do with racism.
Picking the favourite Bond is a hard choice. What is an easy choice, though, is to pick my least favourite, who is easily Roger Moore, I just hate most of his movies, he almost turned Bond into a parody. I loved Connery, he is exactly what Ian Fleming was going for, even if his movies seem a little dated nowadays. Dalton would be my favourite if he had a bigger run and Brosnan was quite good, especially in Goldeneye and The World Is Not Enough. I didn't like Craig at first, mostly because of his muscular looks, but he has played Bond in two of my favourite films, Casino and Skyfall and I can give him credit for getting better with each film.
Ok this has to be the worst review in the history of Gamespot. I am sorry, you are entitled to your opinion, but for no reason this movie is a 4!
It is a visually stunning, entertaining, fast paced adventure, with a satisfying and emotional ending. JJ Abrams had a difficult job to do after Rian Johnson dismissed all his ideas from TFA and practically left him with nothing to move on!
Some things work, some things don't and of course it has some flaws and it could be better in some parts! But I really enjoyed it, it was emotional and a great finale(?) to the Skywalker saga...
Seriously, this was better than I expected! Bounty hunters is not my favourite thing in Star Wars but this managed to hook me in. It's not pretentious, it doesn't have endless and pointless talking, just pure Star Wars fun so far... Cant wait for the plot to unravel, the ending was a surprise... I will not even talk about the effects and sound and all, it is stunning...
