Maybe all these people are right and the game is not that good, or even worse, but that's not what I'm trying to say.
Reading this review and watching a podcast of her and two other people about the game, she didn't convince me that she tried enough to explore the game and find things to like. It felt like she said "this isn't my thing, I don't like the setting, I don't like the themes, I don't care about customizing weapons" etc which is completely fine and maybe she is right, but maybe she wasn't the right person for this job.
People work a lot for such games for her to say "I don't care about that and the other"... It's not a lazy annual NBA 2k release to be treated like that...
@rowl: it's ok for her to like whatever she wants!! I never judged her for what she likes or not! That is your mistake!
Gamespot is one of the biggest gaming websites, they should put someone who would actually sink in the game and spend more than 50 hours and inspect every aspect of the game...
Anyway, I'm not going to argue anymore, it's clear that we don't understand each other, which is fine, but I didn't call you names like "snowflake"...
@rowl: I don't care about the score or the game... She could give it 1/10 and it would be fine if she could justify that with valid points. What she says is not valid points, is her own personal likes and interests.
A valid point could be dated graphics, another valid point could be bad controls, another could be repetitive missions or bad leveling or other gameplay issues...
My problem is with the reviewer because I believe that she didn't put enough effort to make her review feel trustworthy and reliable. She just casually spend some time with a game she already hated before playing it...
@rowl: you are actually right, I missed this because I didn't want to see any spoilers and I thought that the technical section was only under the screenshot.
Still, this doesn't make the review any better, a review is something you do when you have a complete and subjective view of something. A review is not about something you like or not but about something that is good or bad. I don't care if the reviewer is not into RPGs with many side quests or doesn't like the themes of the game, that's her own personal opinion, which is important, but not as the main factor of criticism.
"I don't like it" is not a review, it is a personal statement... This is not a review, this is just her hating on something...
And if she is entitled to do so, I am also entitled to hate this review... You are the one triggered for no reason...
@Vojtass: i don't know about it, but I think that she wouldn't sink in, even if she had more time... If that was the case, she could just post a review in progress, like some other sites...
In fact, I am shocked about how many sites posted final reviews today, I was expecting them to wait for at least a couple of days after launch, so that they can judge with the day one patch...

I'm sorry but I don't have to watch all the content surrounding the review, I just read it and what you say is nowhere to be found. It would only take her less than a minute to write it somewhere, but it's my fault that I didnt watch the video... Yeah ok...
I am not trying to justify the game or CDPR, but this review is the most lame review I've ever read, considering how much hype there is around this game...
@dinamo4ever: The buggs can be a thing, but this is only a review copy and it is known that the game will have a huge day one patch, that will probably fix some or most of these.
It would be fair to at least mention that, beause CDPR has proven that they do care about bugs, but she doesn't...
A reviewer is entitled to not like a game and give it a low score. However, when we are talking about a work of art that was years in the making and not another annual release of a sports game, you have to at least give it a lot of time. Even more when this game is a complex RPG with multiple skill trees and play styles.
People put thousands of working hours on it, for a reviewer to jump in and say "I didnt care about this", "I didnt bother with the other" etc...
Sidelined? In TFA he was the main protagonist alongside Rey. In TLJ he gets a WHOLE subplot for him and Rose, that makes the first half of the movie completely insufferable. In RoS, yes he had less time, but it was the last outing, they had to wrap things up and Kylo Ren and Rey were the main protagonists, it's normal to get more screen time. If that's what he means, he exaggerates...
