I bought my Elite last Tuesday and it was only noisy ehrn I played Lost Odyssey. So I installed it onto my HDD and it was quiet.

The power brick is now very light. I actually held the original power brick once and damn it was heavy.. this isn't.

Bought a few games so far.. all second hand.. Lost Odyssey, Gears of War, Test Drive Unlimited, Episodes From Liberty City (which I just got today) and my first XBLA game... Shadow Complex!!!

Yes. XBL Community is overrated. My friend who uses XBL told me last week that his Japanese friends use in-game chat to talk thru when they play their PS3 (insert shock here!) or even to chat while watching F1, instead of using the phone... They just park their cars on the side of the road in Test Drive Unlimited or open a room in Forza 2. Okay, they have in-game chat. The PS3 XMB and PSN recently got a facelift with the advent of the PS3 Slim causing Microsoft to pee in their pants. Putting that aside, there are kids on XBL as in little bratty kids with high-pitched voices who use their elder brothers console to go online and play their game diminishing their fame. The PS3 is audience is more mature because of the higher price and those who want to look cool with a console system and a Blu-Ray player built-in. Due to the PS3 Slim's arrival, more people would be joining the PSN rather than XBL.

PlayStation Home is starting to be more and more interesting. It's fun. You go there and meet people it's fun too because you can chat with people from all over the world like XBL. It is starting to gain momentum as new users of the PS3 and PS3 Slim pick it up and test PlayStation Home out.

The XBL is implemented in a better way than it was on the G1 Xbox and I admire that. That's all.

P.S. I got forgot one thing about PSN. It's FREE.
