I guess most people just hear it being said with 3 because tok-eyo sounds like 3 syllables but it's what we call a 2.5 syllable word. the e tends to try and be by it's self (in German it is(at the end of a word anyhow)).
In Halo 2 me and one other guy took on 12 people and won with 25 kills each and they all had one or two kills each.
