@ThePixelOmen: personally i think it looks alot better than skyrim on pc with the official HD textures and enb mods. and knowing the community on pc at least, it will only get better. This is having actually played it BTW, not just watching a video that in no way does it justice.

@Fox1swe: While I LOVE the Witcher series (all of 'em) there is just something that is really appealing to me about the fallout universe, admittedly I have been playing it since the start but most people I know haven't even gotten a few hours into the Witcher 3 or have even heard of the series. Although I recommend it to anyone that hasn't played it I don't think the witcher has as wide of an appeal. I am in no way saying Fallout 4 is better or worse, I only just started a few hours ago. But so far it grabs me more than the Witcher 3... let's see if it stays that way. Also, the witcher 3 (hell even 2) looks alot better than Fallout 4 visualy on PC (although 2 didn't have a very big viewable world). But with this type of game visuals don't really matter to me as long as they aren't total crap, and this isn't.

At the end of the day they are both totally different games and both absolute masterpieces in their own right (so long as FO4 keeps going as it has so far)... OK off to play for another hour before I go to bed and my girlfriend no doubt will want to kill me.

@Huglyone: So far it's fine for me (PC) and my pc isn't exactly a beast (amd phenom II 1075t @ 3.8GHZ OC, 16GB DDR3 1600MHz and a gtx 670) pretty much all ultra, dropped the draw distance slightly (still alot further than the ps4 which my cousin is playing on) and dropped the AA down a notch. For me at least it seems to be great on PC, the ps4 version from what I have seen is a little choppy, but havent seen anything I would complain about for a $400 system.

@Xristophoros: I played fallout 3 fine on a 3 GHz single core Pentium 4 and a 9500GT, it ran at medium settings 1280x1024 (back in the old 4:3 days) fine. That was a seriously underpowered system at the time.

@Wiro_: Gtx 670 here and it runs very close to ultra, slightly lowered draw distance and stepped down AA a little, 60 FPS solid.

@robodild0: I love people that assume shit and don't have any basis for their assumptions, it make them look like complete asshats.

SO many people bitching about the game that havent even played it yet, I am in Australia and can actually play it right now (almost a full day ahead of the US), it's fucking awesome, the graphics aren't great but fallout has never been about graphics (it still looks good BTW). Try playing the damn thing before you comment.

@drizzygadget: I take it you have played it though already, even though it only just launched?

@Zombunny: That was new vegas... this is fallout 4, how about you cynical asshats play it and then judge.
