@crashmer: The PS3 was the cheapest Blu-ray player by about$300 when it was released in 2006. It also had PS2 hardware built into the console, media bay and bigger HDD. Scorpio will simply be 40% more powerful than the Pro and have a 4k Blu-ray player, not really worth a possible $200 premium.

@Intocable: In late 2017 you'll be able to build a PC more powerful than the Scorpio for $600.

Microsoft would be retarded to price it at $500, let alone $600.
