@IanNottinghamX: Are you guys retarded? $699.99? First of all, no company in their right mind would attempt such a price point for a console in this day and age. Secondly, the hardware in the Scorpio is not that expensive.

$500 ain't happening folks. A console has never sold decently at that price and anyways the tech in the Scorpio doesn't justify a $150 premium over the PS4 Pro.

It will be $399.99.

@smokerob79: Optimization isn't as big of a deal as it use to be. Games on consoles are still dipping below 30fps a lot of the time.

@smokerob79: Again, it will be a good enough upgrade to the average gamer. Scorpio being 50% more powerful won't justify a possible $200 premium over the PRO.

@b00me: $100 more is too expensive and would sell like crap compared to the Pro. Scorpio has to be $399.99 as I'm sure Sony will cut the price of the Pro by about $50 in late 2017 just to make it harder for Microsoft.
