[QUOTE="Zevante101"]

[QUOTE="C_Rule"]God, I hope this is troll thread, and this guy isn't actually that stupid. Silicel1

So what if it is? Some people don't have a large amount of experience with hardware. This is about the GPU, not the dumb CPU or RAM choices.

Still hope its a troll thread.

I am not trolling I just alittle confused on picking the right GPU? Damn all you guys always think it's a trolling thread.

I have total of $1500 cash collected and wanted to invest this money on high end graphic card. I know you probably tell me just buy 2 GTX 580 or 6990 to save money. I just want to buy the latest one I don't care of overclocking etc...

Here is my list, which one you prefer:
1) 2 GTX 590
2) ASUS MARS II

Please don't tell me to buy Radeon card cause I hate it.

This is my specs:
Asus rampage III Formula
Intel i7 990X extreme edition Gulftown 3.46Ghz
1200 watt Antec High current
12GB 1600Mhz DDR3 Kingston Hyper X ram
128Gb SSD
1tb Western digital Hard Drive
Samsung 12x Blu-ray drive

I know I wasted a lot of money on this rig. I know I would have gotten some parts for cheaper such as 2600k overclocked it but I wanted to buy latest parts and not wanted to overclock it.

That is fine. The 590 is a great card so you will be ok. LordsLoss

Where do you live? The US or what? You can always use newegg.com and amazon.com. Go for the i7 2600k and overclock it and then go for SLI 580's instead of the 590. LordsLoss
I live in USA and I purchased some parts from newegg.com such as power supply and case. I just didn't know what processor and motherboard should I get. :/

Ok great so I might return the motherboard and the processor but I cannot return the graphic card because I bought it from a friend who went back to his country. :(

Yes that is the reason I wanted to get high end parts so I don't need to keep updating the parts every year. I hate buying new graphic card every year.

I am trying to build a gaming computer, which I can play Battlefield 3, Flight simulator X, Crysis, and all upcoming games in ultra settings.

This is the parts I purchased:

1) ASUS Rampage III Formula LGA 1366 Intel X58 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
2) Intel Core i7-980 Processor Extreme Edition 3.33 GHz
3) EVGA NVIDIA GeForce GTX 590
4) Western Digital Caviar Black WD1002FAEX 1TB 7200 RPM SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive
5) Antec High Current Pro HCP-1200 1200W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply
6) COOLER MASTER HAF X RC-942-KKN1 Black Steel/ Plastic ATX Full Tower Computer Case
7) AeroCool V12XT - System fan speed controller
8) ZALMAN CNPS9900MAX-B 135mm Long life bearing CPU Cooler Blue LED
9) 12 GB Kingston 1600MHz DDR3 RAM 4x3
10) SAMSUNG BLU-RAY 12X DVD-ROM DVDRW DUAL LAYER & LIGHTSCRIBE BURNER DRIVE

I checked the shopping list from GeForce website for making a great gaming desktop.I know the parts I purchased looks expensive but I purchased this all for bargain like 50% off.
