The problem for Xbox is the same as always, it just doesn't have the games like Playstation does. It doesn't have Persona 5, Nier Automata, Dragon Quest XI, Tales of Berseria, Horizon Zero Dawn, Shenmue 3 and a whole bunch of other titles. No amount of extra power will allow the Xbox fan base to play all the games that Playstation gets.
But ohh, it gets a shinier version of Assassin's Creed Origins this holiday! Whoop dee hoo.

The only thing that can save microsoft now its to push multiplatform advantage, which again depends on third parties, microsoft cripple xbox when they push windows 10 and have xbox games ported to PC, that way there are 0 reason to get a xbox one x or s. Plus the fact that PC have free online multiplayer microsoft should have dropped gold requirement for online multiplayer in its consoles.
