so we have to choose between 4 stinking piles of poo and a rock and roll hall of fame inductee? Some people shouldn't be allowed to listen to music...(or make polls)...

The Whale shark for sure

I have to agree with this post! I got to swim with them (Atlanta Aquarium) and I recommend it to pretty much everyone. Right at the end, one of them started coming right at me. Biggest geek out ever when it's tail fin hit my arm. Impressive animals to say the least, even the small ones that I've seen (20 feet long or so).

I find it quite egocentric that we think our actions are the driving force in a process that has been going on for millions of years. If it wasn't for the introduction of plant life which began converting CO2 then the conditions for our survival never would have developed. This is not the first time a species has had an effect on the planet and probably won't be the last. The fact remains that we know the planet naturally goes through periods of extreme temperature changes. "Global Warming" has become a political buzz word, a new source of income, and a rally call for self-centered, neo-hippies. The planet has adapted in the past and will adapt in the future. Life will follow suit. Maybe it's for the best...We've had a decent run, but we aren't a sustainable race.

The next "major" conflict will probably be a civil war...in Iran... North Korea and Cuba are close seconds in the civil war category... The next "major " conflict with more than one nation involved would probably involve Russia and Georgia... However, there are certainly a growing number of political ties between countries and a growing dischord between those countries... All in all...2012 might be the on point :)

Already been a bunch of bright shining stars in this list. Although most of it will probably fall short of "must hear" albums (sorry everyone else in this thread...but seriously...Americana?!?!?!) Alright, so epic is the game? Already been been said, but Wish You Were Here and The Wall are musts Coheed and Cambria albums (although all their albums are pretty epic my personal favorite is "In keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3") Already mentioned, but De-loused in the Comatorium is a fantastic album from The Mars Volta You'd do well to check out some Boy Sets Fire as well... The best new album I've heard in a long time is Against Me!'s "New Wave" I'd like to throw in a surprise...Frogstomp...Silverchair...such a great album! The mod post a page or two back also looks quite credible...

[QUOTE="effthat"].the 90's were WAY cooler than the decade before or after.... 80's were way too bright...and 2000 on has really been more like a post apocalyptic gray...Euroshinobi
so true, while 2000 has some gems.........the 90's had MANY GEMS..........well atleast 2000 has dead rising 2 & prototype WooOOoOOooO..............i do miss the old days playing multiplayer Twisted metal on PS ONE........ahhhhh good times........goodtimes

Yeah...theres a reason that we're getting all these re-releases... Remember when the SNES was a huge deal? Remember going to the store and seeing the freakish N64 controller?!!?! I would give anything to have a videogame system make me react the way the N64 kid did!
