@deathstream Right. So basically supporting anything that isn't The Witcher, Gothic, or shi**y indie games are a bunch of posers right? ...you remind me of the typical obnoxious metalhead at a concert who criticizes everything everyone else likes bc you like the garbage nobody has ever heard about or bothers to care about. And for the record..I've been supporting Bethesda before Morrowind and 2k since the very first basketball game they released. ...guess that means I'm trendy huh?
@lfebaggins 100% agree. They knew the general feeling of the fans about EA and decided to push forward anyways. Maybe they thought that they could be the exception to the statistic for companies bought by EA. I'm more sorry for the fans however than the company/owners. They knew who they were getting into bed with. Here's hoping to a new studio that learned from it's mistake and a fresh start
After checking a few other sites...I wonder if Zenimax was actually expecting such a mixed reaction. I'm curious to hear what they think at all the turmoil, be it good or bad on their part. Personally, I think this idea would have probably been much more lucrative and well recieved after Oblivions release.
